The Reverend John Fluff

The Reverend John Fluff - Irish Joke

The Reverend John Fluff was the pastor in a small town in Ireland .  One day he was  walking down the high street when he noticed a young lady of his congregation sitting in a pub drinking beer.  The Reverend wasn't happy.

He walked through the open door of the pub and sat down next to the woman.  'Miss Fitzgerald,' he said sternly.  'This is no place for a member of my congregation.  Why don't you let me take you home?'  'Sure', she said with a slur, obviously very drunk.

When Miss Fitzgerald stood up from the bar, she began to weave back and forth.  The Reverend realized that she'd had far too much to drink and grabbed her arms to steady her.  When he did, they both lost their balance and tumbled to the floor.  After rolling around for a few moments, the Reverend wound up on top of Miss Fitzgerald, her skirt hiked up to her waist.

The pub landlord looked over and said, 'Oi mate, we won't have any of that carrying on in this pub.'

The Reverend looked up at the landlord and said, 'But you don't understand, I'm Pastor Fluff.'

The landlord nodded and said, 'Ohhhh well, if you're that far in, ye might as well finish 'er off.'

: "It's Your Story" - National Museum of American Jewish History

The new National Museum of American Jewish History (www.nmajh.org), opening in November 2010, is dedicated to telling the still-unfolding story of Jews in America, who embraced freedom with its choices and challenges as they shaped and were shaped by our nation. The Museum envisions its new home as a place that welcomes all people, inviting them to discover what they have in common with the Jewish experience in America, as well as to explore the features that make this history distinctive.

Rising five stories above Independence Mall, in the heart of historic Philadelphia, the National Museum of American Jewish History will join Independence Hall, the National Constitution Center, the Liberty Bell and other landmarks at the hallowed site of America's birth. There could not be a more fitting place for a museum that will explore the promise and challenges of liberty through the lends of the American Jewish experience.

Augusta National In The Snow

This winter has been tough. The South is not immune either. The photos below of Augusta National were taken last week after a winter snow storm swept through the South including Atlanta (home of ATG).  The moment I saw these, I knew they had to be shared (hat tip to my good friend for sharing). Side note: I was going to post the location of each hole, but take a guess on each picture and then hold the mouse over the image…see if you got it right.
